HOSTA runs two types of initial 5 Day HSR Training courses:
Please note that if you are a state based employee (i.e. a you work for a private company in NSW or are a NSW Public servant), you will need to complete the Safe Work NSW course.
If you are a Commonwealth HSR (i.e. you are a federal government employee or your workplace is a Comcare Licensee), you will need to complete the Commonwealth Course.
If you are unsure, please contact us to discuss which course is best suited.
In line with section 72 of the Work Health and Safety Act 2011 (Act) training is to be chosen by the HSR (or deputy HSR) following consultation.
