ACTU ComCare 5-day Health and Safety Representatives (HSRs) course

This ComCare approved course has been developed for all HSRs who have been elected since January 1, 2012. HSRs must complete the approved course of training in order to exercise all their powers.

In line with section 72 of the Work Health and Safety Act 2011 (Act) training is to be chosen by the HSR (or deputy HSR) following consultation. The person in control of a business or undertaking (PCBU) must allow this training and meet all associated costs.
